Replacement Apron and Lever Cords for Table Looms

Apron cords

Newer 15″ looms and all 20″ and 25″ looms use Texsolv cords, sold in packs of 3. Check the cloth or warp beam on a 15″ loom—if it does not have pairs of holes going through the beam, order Texsolv apron cords. You will need one cord per hole in the cloth and warp beams. These apron cords also fit double back beams (discontinued) for Table Looms, again with one cord per hole.

Holes:

• 15″: 3 holes per cloth/warp/double back beam
• 20″: 4 holes per cloth/warp/double back beam
• 25″: 5 holes per cloth/warp/double back beam

Very old 15″ looms use nylon cords, sold in packs of 2. Check the cloth or warp beam on a 15″ loom—if it does have pairs of holes going through the beam, order nylon apron cords. You will need one cord per beam, making 3 loops around the apron bar.

Lever Cords

Newer looms have Texsolv cords; older looms have nylon cords. Both are sold in packs of 4. Texsolv cords have small loops, so that you can run one end of the cord or the pointed end of an arrow peg through a loop. If your table loom has holes in the levers, you’ll need Texsolv lever cords.

Nylon cords are smooth and secured with knots. If your table loom has slots in the levers, you’ll need nylon lever cords.
